The Client

Coles Contracting are well established vineyard contractors based in the Marlborough region of New Zealand.

The Brief

The client recognised their existing logo was outdated and were interested in a more contemporary look with earthy colours such as blues, greens and browns. I needed to create a new logo and letterhead design to help the client maintain a competitive edge.

My Approach

Using a detailed brief and details of competitors I researched the market and gradually developed a number of ideas. I produced 3 draft logo designs of which one became the final choice. After some subtle colour adjustments light green was decided as it works well on light or dark backgrounds. The accompanying letterhead featured a distinctive dark grey header panel with the logo overlaid.

The Impact

Coles Contractors were thrilled to have a fresh, more memorable logo and letter head identity.
