The Client

Highlands is a motorsports park in Cromwell, New Zealand, located 45mins from the adventure capital of the world – Queenstown. This world-class facility features an exhilarating 4.1 kilometre circuit inspired by some of the world’s most famous race tracks.

The Brief

Maverick Digital, who I have worked with for many years, engaged my services on behalf of Highlands to support them with their online advertising strategy. I was entrusted to produce a series of display adverts for this famous tourist attraction.

My Approach

Working with Highlands’ existing brand style, I created a series of designs which featured eye-catching motorsport imagery to give people a tangible feel of the racing experience. I used bold typography and clear ‘call to action buttons’ (e.g. ‘book now’ and ‘learn more’) to drive enquiries (pardon the pun!). 

The Impact

Maverick Digital and Highlands loved the high-end advert designs, which promote fun and aspiration to both its family and adrenaline pumped target market. I have worked with the team since carrying out design updates for their email marketing templates produced in Mailchimp.
